We are qualified to the highest standard of Pilates. We provide premium quality equipment in a modern dynamic space.
Our priority is to welcome each client and correctly assess needs. We discuss and agree improvement goals within an individually tailored programmed of exercise. We listen and respond to feedback in order to achieve excellence. Through the use of exercises performed on the Reformer and resistance-based Apparatus we will teach you to move in a safe and effective way to create a balanced and functional body. You will see improvements in muscular strength, especially the deep stabilizing abdominal muscles, flexibility, control, and posture and leave with an improved sense of well-being no matter your age, profession, or fitness level.
Tip #1: If You’re New
Feeling a little intimidated by Pilates? Don’t be! At Pure Passion Pilates, we welcome all shapes, sizes and skill levels – and our instructors know how to make you feel at home. If you’re a first-timer attending your first class, dress comfortably and arrive early so you can fill out a little paperwork and get to know the studio.
Tip #2: What to Wear
Stretchy pants welcome. Wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for exercise. Your pants should allow you to move easily and your top should be fitted or semi-fitted. It’s in your best interest to wear fitted clothing so our instructors can keep an eye on your form and alignment so avoid baggy, loose clothing or shorts. Stretchy lycra fabrics are awesome for ease and freedom of movement (think yoga
pants or leggings). No shoes inside the studio, so leave those with your belongings. Please no jewelry, strong scented perfumes, or lotions.
Toe socks are mandatory inside the studio. Don’t worry if you don’t have one you can always purchase at the studio
Personal Loop Covers are mandatory due to keeping you and others safe in the pandemic. We have a good collection that you can buy at the studio.
Tip #3: Get the most from classes
Be talkative. Your instructor is there to make sure you get the most out of your Pilates session, so feel free to chat her up. Tell your instructor about any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancies, or other issues that could limit your ability to exercise. This will help your instructor modify movements appropriately for you.
Disconnect. The beauty of our studio is that it allows you to exercise and rehabilitate in a calm, tranquil environment. Noisy, buzzing, vibrating devices will not help any of us get our groove, so keep your cell phones silent
